Bad Guys Beware!!!

Emerson thinks he's Spiderman.

Watch out folks, if he thinks you're a threat he'll jump into a crouch and "git" you with his spiderweb powers. The other day when I came to pick him up at the gym, he was listening to the story one of the girls was telling, in which a shark was about to attack. I watched his reaction quietly from the side, and saw his face change from surprise to resolve as he reached out with his wrist and "CHCHCHCHCHCHCH"... got the bad guy with his web. Didn't say a word (except for the necessary sound effect, of course). Just sprayed the dude and went back to listening to see what would happen next. The kids and teacher looked at him for a moment, slightly confused, and then moved on with the story. Sometimes it's hard being the good guy... you just don't get the credit you deserve.

Later that same day, I was working on the laundry, and Spiderman followed me out of the laundry room, neglecting to shut the door. Seizing his opportunity, Porter employed his lightning crawl to make it in before someone could stop him. Emerson, recognizing imminent danger raced to the door, slamming it before poor little Porter ever had a chance. "Not Today, Porter!!!" boomed Emerson, using his best superhero voice.

If you get a chance, ask Emerson to sing the Spiderman song for you. His interpretation of "radio active blood" is pretty funny.

Aaaahhhh, life is good.

hahaha That's funny. I was laughing as I read this. What makes it funny is that fact that I can totally picture Emerson doing all of that.

He sings spiderman about as much as I sing my little "diddy" that I do when I'm thinking about nothing, or what to do next. You never get to hear it cause the kids are always there keeping me occupied, but my roommates seem to be hearing it quite often. Last night, when I was at home, I reminded myself of Emerson cause I kept singing something I made up, over and over and over. And over. :) Those kids crack me up... as you know by now! So entertaining.

I want a good camera. Even if I had some talent, it can only take you so far with a cheaper camera.

All your pictures are always so good, you have a good eye and talent. Emerson is so cute. i can see him doing all of this and I love the incident at the gym, hilarious! He'll get his recognition some day, good guys finish first! :)
